  Governing Body - Time in Ministry

  is there any transparency in how many hours on the ministry the governing body members do on the ministry?

  by this i mean the physical act of going door to door in their area.

  i guess it is plausible that they would count overseas trips and working on publications as part of their ministry, but this is not what they encourage from the jw on the street.. is it possible for a gb member to be reproved or otherwise for not going out in service?

  Hi Smiddy - yes that's right.

  And when I presented the GB with the absolute scriptural proof that they were in opposition to someone who could, reasonably be identified as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, ie the prophet Daniel, I got met with silence. Utter and complete silence.

  The prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel and can also be described as Jehovah's Witnesses and their words also prove 1914 wrong. So I took 3 witnesses against them. Three witnesses genuinely inspired by Jehovah and GB ignored all of them! Shortly after my communications had hit Bethel (recorded, signed for), Anthony Morris was see out buying whiskey. Don't know if there was any connection to my letters and website.
  

  The only thing I am or ever was, is a Christian. I went along with the name 'Jehovah's Witness' as an alternative term for a Christian on the basis that Jesus was the greatest descendant of Jacob. But really people who follow Jesus' teachings are Christians, nothing else. Or that's how it should be, even if people do choose to take denominational names.

  Anyway hope Anthony enjoyed his whiskey. The GB obviously have lots of time to go shopping but no time to address my serious scriptural concerns.

  i am over the moon today!.

  just want to share my joy with all of you.

  just yesterday my closest n bestest (for emphasis) friend hugged me so tight n so long n revealed that my friend is starting to feel normal again.

  'regular' jw's attending a 'judicial committee' automatically and without realising it, both admit to a 'wrongdoing' and 'subject themselves' to jw .org-inisation 'elders'.. it has also been well-documented that jw .org is 'coming after long--term inactive ones, that are causing 'divisions'.. there is a greater emphasis being put on 'shunning' those labelled with 'apostate' (behaviour).. the 'slanderous' naming and shaming of (former) members who have questioned the jw.

  org-inisation is relentlessly being propagated in both publications and their gatherings, such as their ironically named 'love never fails' 2019 convention.. ironically, the scriptures they often refer to such as the one at titus 3:10 the original greek word hairetikos, which is translated to the the word “heretic,.

  This was around 2007. After London Bethel sent my letter to him, "by mistake" (as I was told), my letter was then sent to another elder, in one of our sister congregations.

  That elder (a PO) then said to me, "and WHAT have YOU got against my friend xxxx xxxxxxxx."

  That was the beginning and pretty much the end of any further mention of the subject. I just shut up.

  C T Russell was influenced by Pyramidology as was the Astronomer Royal for Scotland, Charles Piazzi Smyth.

  Because the British used imperial measurements (construed as godly becuase the pyramids were built using an almost similar kind of inch which was supposedly in harmony with the entire universe), that meant they (the British) had the right to rule Egypt instead of the atheistic French who used the centimeter and were therefore cut off from ever being in harmony with the universe.

  FYI John Taylor came up with the idea of the "pyramid inch". Taylor said the "pyramid inch" was 1/25 of the "sacred cubit" whose existence had earlier been postulated by Isaac Newton.

  When I joined I felt I was getting on a bus, but not a bus to paradise. I thought it was a bus following Christ Jesus. When I found out it wasn't, I spoke to the driver, tried gently to get him to steer in the right direction. Got pushed away, so for some time I have been standing on bit where you get off. I've trying to tell them they are driving over a cliff. Not quite to no avail but the bus is now rumbling on towards the cliff edge and I'm back on foot - with a few others.

  We wont be getting on any more buses.

  Churches have naves and I think that's to do with ships. So some get on ships - reminds me of how they use the scripture to do with baptism and link it to the ark.
